Operations Order (OPORD) - Operation: Stellar Forge

I: Situation

At or around Q1 or Q2 3311 (2025), Frontier Developments will be releasing a new update to the game in public beta, surrounding the colonization of new star systems that were previously uninhabited. This Operations Order (OPORD) will be outlining the official roadmap for The Order of the Sepulchre's colonization preparation efforts.

1.1 - Enemy Forces

At this time, the only known enemy forces are as follows:

Forces may attempt to disrupt resource mining, settlement construction, or infrastructure development.

1.2 - Friendly Forces

Order of the Sepulchre is tasked with achieving control of the following systems:

Friendly forces are to include allied factions that have agreed to support the colonization effort by providing supplies/resources, and logistical support. Other CMDR's within the the faction and allied factions are available to provide backup and reconnaissance support if required. 35F billeted personnel will be supporting by providing up-to-date intel throughout the duration of this operation.

1.3 - Attachments and Detachments

Command of this Operation is headed by Col. Engi 78. The Executive Officer (XO) will be the second-in-command, and will assist the commander as advisor and as the Intel Officer.
Additional support from [REDACTED] will be available for combat or logistical roles, as necessary.

II. Mission

Mission Statement: repare for Colonization in strategic locations in order to facilitate The Order's expansion out of The Bubble. Secure resources, establish infrastructure, and establish and maintain control of strategic systems to allow for quicker and easier colonization.
The colonization operation is to commence immediately after the release of The Colonization Update, with the establishment of the first Colonization Beacon in the hours after the update, and the first systems being established within 2-4 weeks at most.

III. Execution

3.1 - Concept of Operations:

Preparation and Setup of Existing Systems:

Intel Personnel will determine ideal targets within 10LY of controlled system for strategic colonization efforts, and will determine the best systems to effect an expansion into prior to the Colonization update, to maximize the number of potential colonization routes.

3.2 - Tasks to Subordinate Personnel

All other personnel will be strategically deployed to secure the objectives outlined in the Mission Statement.

Personnel will be expected to assist in securing nearby systems in preparation for colonization, and maintain security by patrolling for hostile players in Open Play, personnel will also be expected to assist in transport and procurement of supplies for colonization.

3.3 - Coordinating Instructions

Coordination of personnel and allied efforts will be conducted by our Joint Terminal Attack Controller: SPC Turtlecults.

Any engagement of potential enemy combatants that haven't otherwise been confirmed as hostile MUST be routed through our JTAC personnel. We must avoid friendly fire at all costs.

IV: Service Support

4.1 - Logistics

The following supplies are expected to be required for Colonization Efforts:

Ensure that all fleet carriers are equipped with sufficient cargo to maintain the colonization effort for the first several days.
Fuel and materials for constructing bases, mining, and trading operations must be coordinated with logistics ships and structures in nearby systems.

V: Command and Control

5.1 Command

Overall command of the Operation is handled by Col. Engi 78 and Lt. Col. MalachiS1778 The Operation Cadre & designated Diplomatic NCO's will liasie with allied factions to ensure coordination.

5.2 Communications

All units should use restricted channels OR the Joint Operations thread for Operation: Stellar Forge in order to ensure Operational Security (OPSEC).
